These Schindler buttons are from the 1940s. This style of button is not found on any installs in the United States. All of the pieces I have worked on came from the same elevator.
Vintage Schindler Call Buttons
In this video, I show the restoration and wiring of two old Schindler buttons. These pieces were in BAD shape, and needed a lot of work to get into the condition they are in now. A fun fact: this was the first elevator part video I ever posted!
Vintage Schindler Car Panel Restoration
This video shows the restoration of the car panel with the old Schindler buttons. This piece was sadly ruined with a giant red stop button (even though there's already a stop button on the panel). Fun Fact: This piece came from an elevator in Canada, and it's so old that it still shows imperial units of weight!
