In addition to making videos of elevators, I also work on projects involving elevator parts. Here you can find all of the various projects I have done with these items. Each one provides the project video, information about the project, and sometimes extra resources for the project.

What it's all about

In the elevator enthusiast community, many people collect elevator items (buttons, lanterns, etc). It is similar to how someone might collect rocks, models, or other items. I have my own personal parts collection and I work with the elevaTOURs Elevator Museum to restore and wire up pieces for display there. Our goal is to preserve these pieces of elevator history for others to enjoy and learn about!

My goal for each project is to restore the part as much as possible. I then use my engineering skills to design something which makes the part interactive. Some projects are simple wiring, and some require complex circuits and microcontroller programming.

I have created videos showing many of the restoration and wiring projects I have done. These videos show detailed looks of fixtures, wiring guides, and general overviews of the projects I've done.
